dc.description.abstract | Aspectos básicos de la biología (especialmente criaderos) y el estado de la susceptibilidad a tres de los más importantes grupos de insecticidas (i.e. Organofosforados, Piretroides y Carbamatos) fueron evaluados en poblaciones del vector de malaria humana,' Anopheles pseudopunctipennis. Larvas de esta especie fueron capturadas en cuatro municipalidades situadas en el valle geográfico del río Cauca. En dos de ellas (Florida y Tuluá) se tiene poco uso de insecticidas en comparación con Rozo y Buga, donde, hasta recientemente, la explotación agrícola se practicaba en forma intensiva y variada, basada en el alto uso de pesticidas. | spa |
