Efficacy was evaluated by the bacteriological cure risk for an initial treatment and re-treatment of refractory cases. Treatment programs, in conjunction with other management strategies, ca ¿n play a substantial role in reducing prevalence of Streptococcus agalactiae and these results suggest that the overall cure risk for the intramammary product was significantly greater than the intramuscular product.
