Dinámica cuántica condicional disipativa en dímeros controlados ópticamente
(2009-10) Reina Estupiñán, John Henry; Susa Quintero, Cristian Edwin
We calculate the energy spectrum of a pair of two-level single terrylene molecules in a paraterphenyl crystal, which are coupled via the dipole-dipole interaction and externally driven with a laser field. We give the full numerical solution of the dissipative quantum master equation and describe the population dynamics and the systems eigenstate behaviour as a function of the strength of the intermolecular interactions, the decay mechanisms, and the external driving field. From these, we show how to induce a dissipative conditional quantum dynamics and, in particular, to simulate the two-qubit logic gates CNOT and SWAP in such a dimer.

Intrincamiento cuántico en ensambles de moléculas individuales acopladas
(2009-10) Susa Quintero, Cristian Edwin; Reina Estupiñán, John Henry
We calculate the degree of entanglement dynamics of a pair of two-level (dipole) coupled molecules embedded in a dispersive medium of refraction index n which interact with the quantized radiation field and with an external coherent driving field. We compute the Concurrence in the generation of maximally entangled states and compare the results with other entanglement measures. We calculate the resonance fluorescence spectrum, obtaining an observable that provides direct evidence of the interaction between the single molecules. Our results consider energy scales, excitation frequencies, laser and dissipative refractive properties that can be realized with current technology.
