Estudio del comportamiento crítico en anillos superconductores tipo II en presencia de campos magnéticos
(2009-10) Santacruz, L. A.; Calero Quintero, Jesús María
In the framework of the Ginzburg-Landau theory, in the linear approach, we study the critical behavior of a type II mesoscopic superconducting ring with negligible thickness, in the presence of an applied magnetic field perpendicular to the plane of the ring. Special attention is paid to the influence of the Ginzburg-Landau parameter (ratio between the penetration and coherence lengths) on the phase diagram in the critical region of these systems. It is observed that for a determined geometry of the ring, a change by a scaling factor of the critical field appears, when varying this parameter. Also is analyzed as are modified the regions of the phase diagram in which paramagnetic Meissner effect appears, with respect to the variation of the ratio between the inner and outer radii of the ring, for a fixed value of the Ginzburg-Landau parameter.
